Suitable for cedar hot tubs, plastic spas and PVC lined pools
Instructions:
• Pour the required amount of Mineral Spa into the pool filled with fresh water
• Best to set the pump to run on auto (15 minutes every hour) between 8am-8pm
• Treatment lasts 4-6 months depending on pool usage
• Keep the pool cover on as much as possible in between use to avoid algae build up
• Periodically check the Ph levels and use Buffer (sodium bicarbonate) or Hardener (calcium) as required
• Empty the pool after every 4-6 months, clean and refill with fresh water then add more Mineral Spa treatment

For tubs with water volumes 1000L or less: Pour half a bottle
For tubs with water volumes 1000L or more: Pour 1 bottle

HOW DOES MINERAL SPA PURIFY WATER?
Mineral Spa water in a 4-step process:
Flocculation: When you add Mineral Spa to water, it causes dissolved, invisible contaminants to come out of suspension.
Coagulation: The contaminants become neutralised, clump together and become insoluble.
Precipitation: Once coagulated, the insoluble, neutralised contaminants solidify as they precipitate out of solution.
Deposition: Precipitates settle as deposit sediment at the bottom of your hot tub then gets sucked out and filtered.

-Lastly to remove heavy metals, such as arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium and chromium.
-To remove those that cause water to lose clarity, namely insoluble substances.

HOW MUCH OF THE PRODUCT IS NEEDED TO PURIFY WATER?
Tubs up to 1000L of water: 1 x 500ml bottle provides approx. 12 months of treatment. Pour 1/2 the bottle in and after 6 months, drain, clean tub, refill with fresh water and add the remaining 1/2 bottle of Mineral Spa.
Tubs with 1000L-2300L of water: 2 x 500ml bottles provides approx. 12 months of treatment. Pour 1 bottle of Mineral Spa in and after 6 months, drain, clean tub, refill with fresh water and add the remaining 1 bottle of Mineral Spa.

WHY DOES MINERAL SPA INITIALLY TURN THE WATER CLOUDY?
The cloudiness that often occurs when Mineral Spa is immediately added to water is caused by the flocculation process, which causes dissolved contaminants to come out of solution. After a short period of time, the contaminants will be filtered out and the water will become clear.
